The Snap Back — And the Joy of Playing in the Astral

If you’ve ever lifted out of your body and felt the rush of excitement flood through you — only to be snapped right back into your physical form — you know exactly what I mean.
One second you’re floating, the next… blink… you’re in bed, heart racing, mind buzzing, wondering what just happened.
When I first began traveling, this happened to me all the time. I’d be so thrilled that it was actually working — that I was weightless, free, moving through the veil — that the sheer joy of it would pull me straight back to the physical.

I remember my early experiments: Trying to glide through my bedroom window. Testing how fast “the speed of thought” really was. Laughing at myself as I hesitated mid-flight, unsure if I should try going through a wall or just… turn left.
Sometimes, I’d get caught up in figuring it all out — like I was in some cosmic obstacle course. Other times, I’d simply let go, drifting into the sky, the cool, thin air pressing gently against me. And those were the moments I remember most vividly: Not the trying. Not the proving. Just… being.
Why Snap Back Happens
The excitement we feel when we realize we’re “out” sends a surge of energy through the body. That spike is often enough to pull our awareness — and our astral body — straight back into the physical.
It’s not failure. It’s feedback. Your system is showing you how sensitive the tether is between the two states.
How to Stay Out Longer
Breathe and Anchor: The moment you realize you’re out, take a slow, grounding breath. Feel yourself stabilize before moving.
Let Go of the Mission: Resist the urge to rush toward a goal. Wander first. Explore slowly.
Soften Your Focus: Keep your awareness wide, rather than locking onto one thing.
Play: Experiment without pressure — touch the air, hover near the ceiling, dance in the atmosphere.
The Importance of Play
Before the deep exploration, before the soul missions and the journeys across time… give yourself permission to play.
The astral isn’t just a place for answers — it’s a place for joy. When you let your spirit move in curiosity and lightness, you expand in ways that prepare you for the deeper work ahead.
Some of my most profound experiences came from those moments of unstructured wonder. Just flying. Just feeling the freedom. Just laughing in midair at the miracle of it all.
So next time you feel the veil thinning and you lift from your body, remember — you don’t have to figure it all out right away.
You can simply float.
You can simply be.
Find yourself Playing in the Astral.
And sometimes, that’s where the real magic lives.
